Frequently Asked Questions

What insurances do you accept?

We accept Medicaid, Cigna, Aetna, CMS, Simply, Sunshine, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Staywell and other private insurances. 


ABA : We do not accept United Healthcare, Health First, Tricare, Florida KidCare, Allied, and Allegiance.


Occupational Therapy: We do not accept Simply, Tricare, United Healthcare, Health First and Blue Cross


Speech: We accept Scholarships for Speech Therapy.

                                 

We accept Scholarships for education and Occupational Therapy



What ages do you accept?

We currently accept children ages 2-12 based on individual assessment.

Does my child have to have a disability to come to your school?

Paloma Academy is an education program designed for children with behavioral or educational concerns that are preventing them from attending typical day care or school programs. 

Do I have to have insurance?

Paloma Academy is a school that offers behavioral and educational support programs. To receive ABA services insurance is required.  Children are accepted without insurance upon evaluation of behavioral and academic needs.

Will my child receive ABA?

Paloma Academy is founded on the principles of behavior. While we do require each student to have insurance to receive 1:1 ABA services, all students will receive care by professionals, trained on the principles of behavior and education. For more information on ABA, click here.
